Disney Destiny: A Disney Cruise Line Heroic & Villainous Voyage
Heroes and villains take over Disney Cruise Line's new ship, Disney Destiny. Beloved characters from Disney's animated and live-action films, including classics from their animation studio, Pixar, and Marvel franchise, appear in exciting and inventive areas all over the vessel. Get an inside look before anyone steps foot onboard.
Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots at the Stern
Each Disney Cruise Line ship has an iconic character protecting the stern, which is often the focus of guests' photos in port. On Disney Destiny, Spider-Man, a Marvel superhero, helps decorate the filigree. It's the first time a Marvel character has been selected for the honor.
Disney Destiny is the Third in the Triton Class
Disney Destiny is a sister ship to Disney Wish and Disney Treasure. It is in the Triton Class of Disney Cruise Line ships. The ship has 1,250 passenger cabins and weighs 140,000 gross tons. It runs on liquified natural gas.
Black Panther-Inspired Grand Hall
Beautiful patterns and motifs from Black Panther's Wakanda nation comprise the three-deck Grand Hall. The chandelier is inspired by Vibranium — the rare metallic ore from the fictional country. Walt Disney Imagineers consulted with Marvel Studios' “Black Panther” design team to create the design in the metalwork.
T'Challa is at the Heart of the Ship
Step into a space that could be featured in Disney's most popular mansion – the Haunted Mansion, of course. One of the most popular attractions from Disney parks is featured at the Haunted Mansion Parlor. The venue's story focuses on a sea captain as happy haunts “materialize” around grim grinning guests. Sip ghostly cocktails while a custom musical arrangement inspired by the attraction's original score plays in the background.
Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King
“Be Prepared” to sing along to favorite tunes from the iconic film at Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King! The dinner show features live singers and musicians performing as the sun rises and sets throughout the meal along the panoramic aft windows.
Iron Man Tower Suite
The one-of-a-kind Tower Suite is in the ship's forward funnel. The Tony Stark-approved decor is industrial with soft touches in a neutral palette with pops of dark red. Designated areas for sleeping, eating, and playing are within the 2,000-square-foot suite with an ensuite elevator.
De Vil's Piano Lounge
The Imagineers spotted the perfect opportunity to incorporate a popular Disney villain in the piano lounge near the Grand Hall. The Cruella de Vil-focused “De Vil's Piano Lounge” has a black-and-white grand piano and red details. The pianist will play sultry tunes as guests enjoy sipping specialty cocktails.
Edna À La Mode Sweets
“It's a sweet shop, darling!” Edna Mode and Jack-Jack from The Incredibles welcome guests into this confectionary shop. The sugary space's design is inspired by the Auntie Edna Disney short film.
Groot Takes Over Worlds of Marvel
The family-friendly Worlds of Marvel restaurant and dining experience remains on Disney Destiny as on Disney Wish and Disney Treasure. But on Destiny, Groot takes over the storyline as he plans a surprise party for Rocket. Guests participate in Marvel trivia as the fun unfolds to an “awesome mix” of songs.
AquaMouse Splashtacular fun
This 760-foot-long attraction is a signature of the Disney Cruise Line ships. On Disney Destiny, riders join Mickey and Minnie for a journey to the peak of Villain Mountain. With the classic characters as your guide, fearsome encounters with villains like Scar and The Queen of Hearts are turned into wacky surprises.
Impressive IncrediSuites
Seven IncrediSuites ocean views are located above the bridge. They feature floor-to-ceiling windows and a midcentury modern aesthetic inspired by Pixar's “The Incredibles.”
A Suite Bathroom worthy of a Hero
Luxuriate in a stand-alone bathtub as you look out over the ocean in a royal suite. Double sinks and a stand-up shower add to the space's beauty and functionality.
Royal Suite Fit for Heroes
Immerse yourself in luxury in a Royal Suite on Disney Destiny. The Hercules-themed Hero Suites are inspired by the animated film's Greco-Roman architecture and patterns with gold, white, and blue hues used in the finishes.
Royal Suite Details of Heroic Proportions
In an onboard royal suite, guests are empowered to embrace their destiny. “Hercules” is in the details, like the artwork and knickknacks decorating the bookshelves. In the living area and dining room, gold, gray, and aqua colors bring the space to life.
Fantasia One-Bedroom Concierge Suites Living Area
“Fantasia” artwork and scenes from the animated movie inspired the lush decor in the one-bedroom concierge suites' living area. Lounge seating and a dining table evoke nature in wood material and Earth tones.
Fantasia One-Bedroom Concierge Suites Sleeping Area
The luxurious sleeping area of the one-bedroom concierge suites includes watercolor artwork from the Disney classic, “Fantasia.” Concierge guests have access to the Marvels-themed concierge lounge and private sun deck.
Heroes-Themed Staterooms
Different decks on the Triton class of Disney Cruise Line ships have different themes. At least one of the decks is themed to Hercules, the beloved animated Disney film from 1997. Hercules, Pegasus, Hades, and Megara appear in the custom Disney artwork above the bed in this verandah stateroom.
